Come and see the rooms before you read a word of this.
A licensed centre in Platte City. Tours are Tuesday and Thursday mornings while the day is actually running, because a centre at nine in the morning tells you more than any brochure.
In this order
What a tour walks through
The same route every family takes, and you are welcome to stay as long as you want in any room.
The entry and the sign-in
Coded door, one way in, and every adult signs in and out. You will be asked for ID on the first visit and that is on purpose.

The infant room
One adult to four babies. Cots, a separate sleep area, and a written log of every feed, change and nap that goes home with you.

The toddler and pre-K rooms
One to six and one to ten. Low shelves at child height, real materials, and work displayed at their eye level rather than ours.

The yard
Fenced, shaded from noon, separate areas so the two year olds are not out with the four year olds.

Weekly, full time
